Global Perspectives at Turkish-German University: Innovation, Resilience and the Future of Education

On 14 May 2026, the Turkish-German University welcomed two internationally renowned guest speakers for keynote talks in the fields of management, innovation, and the future of education. Prof. Erskin Blunck from the Nürtingen-Geislingen University in Germany presented current developments in sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystems, innovation, and public-private partnerships within the German start-up environment. Also joining the event was Prof. Tom Gillpatrick from Portland State University, who travelled from the United States specifically for the occasion. In his talk titled “Global Instability, Supply Chain and Strategies for Resilience” he addressed global risks, resilience strategies for businesses, and the impacts of artificial intelligence and technological change on the economy and future education systems. Organized by Prof. Thomas Hofmann, the event offered students valuable international insights into current economic and societal transformation processes, as well as the future of innovation, education, and global cooperation.
