New Publication: “A Novel Model for Assessment of Industry 4.0 Maturity in Defense Industry”

Our Operations Research Department Research Assistant Bilge Varol, together with Ahmet Can Ataman and Prof. Dr. Gül Tekin Temur from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Bahçeşehir University, has published a book chapter in “Engineering and Technology Management in Challenging Times,” published by Springer Nature Switzerland.
This study is an important research effort examining the effects of digital transformation in the defense industry and proposing a novel Industry 4.0 maturity model specifically designed for the defense sector. The model is developed using a multi-criteria decision-making approach and includes five key criteria: strategy, management and organization, human and R&D culture, product and technology, and operations.
