New publication: "Optimal number of remanufacturing in a circular economy platform"

Written by our Chair of Industrial Engineering department Dr. Yaşanur Kayıkcı together with researchers from İstanbul Medeniyet University (Dr. Elif Cesur), Sakarya University (RA Muhammet Raşit Cesur) and Plymouth University in England (Prof. Sachin K. Mangla), the article "Optimal number of remanufacturing in a circular economy platform" is published in the WOS-SCI Q3 indexed International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications. The study proposes a model to determine the optimal reproduction number of returned used equipment and examines the mathematical model in the context of PVC product remanufacturing opportunities. This publication is the result of the TÜBİTAK 2221 research project "The decision making model to create synergies between Industry 4.0 and the circular economy for sustainable supply chains".
