The industrial engineering degree program represents the combination of economic science and engineering science study content with particular innovative strength and future viability. The education of the industrial engineer is characterized by a knowledge transfer in technology and management. The interdisciplinary character determines the teaching, in which different areas of knowledge are taught simultaneously. In addition to mathematical and methodological basics, the curriculum includes subjects from various social and natural sciences, such as engineering, business administration and economics, law, as well as computer science, organizational sciences, supply chain management or operations research.
